TaxMalta and Guernsey sign Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement

The Government of Malta and the Government of Guernsey have signed an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.

The agreement was signed on 12 March 2012.

The High Commissioner of Malta in the UK, HE Mr Joseph Zammit Tabona, who signed the agreement on behalf of the Government of Malta, said this Agreement is instrumental for trade relations to be strengthened further.

This is the 60th Double Taxation Agreement signed in the past couple of years.
