David Zahra & Associates Advocates was proud to be one of the key figures in organising the first leg of several Blockchain Roadshow events in Italy, entitled “Utilizzare La Blockchain A Malta: L’innovazione Attraverso La Regolamentazione”.
The roadshow took place on 4 and 5 March 2019 at the Hotel NH Torino Santo Stefano in Torino and the The Square, Milano Duomo in Milano.
This event was the result of DZ&A’s teaming up with FinanceMalta, the public-private initiative entusted with the promotion of the Maltese financial services industry, and R&P Legal, a renowned law firm with offices throughout Italy.
Gianluca Busuttil represented DZ&A in both Torino and Milano, providing the local audience with a well-received presentation which introduced the basic notions of blockchain technology and the innovative regulatory framework which has been recently developed in Malta.
Following his presentation, Gianluca Busuttil also represented DZ&A on a panel discussion with Ivan Grech, Chief Operations Officer at FinanceMalta, as well as Luca Egitto, a leading Italian expert on the Italian fintech and intellectual property regulation on behalf of R&P Legal.
The roadshow was concluded with a televised interview in the studios of LeFonti TV, a leading Italian publisher and forum for financial and economic debate and discussion.
