On the 28 of April, the firm took a break from the office to invest in something equally important—our team. Our team-building day was a fantastic opportunity to sharpen skills, deepen our knowledge, and most importantly, spend quality time together in a relaxed setting.
We kicked off the day at 9:00 AM with morning refreshments, easing into the day with coffee, pastries, and a good dose of catching up.
Our first session was led by Richmond Foundation on Cultivating Emotional Resilience and Adaptability, which gave us valuable tools to navigate high-pressure environments both in the work and home environments.
After Richmond Foundation’s insightful workshop, we dove into international economics with Daniel Gravino, an economics lecturer at the University of Malta, who shed light on the complexities of Tariffs and Trade Wars, specifically between the US and other countries and the consequences importers and consumers may encounter.
Following our lunch break, we returned recharged for a deep dive into AML compliance with Charles Cassar from Shoulder Compliance . He took us through an informative session, addressing real-world applications and regulatory expectations.
The day wrapped up with a final coffee break and a sense of shared accomplishment. We left not only better informed but also more connected as a team.
