David Zahra & Associates Advocates was pleased to participate in the 9th edition of the IBA Global Entrepreneurship Conference, held between 18 and 20 May 2025 at the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan, Italy. 
 
Themed ‘Back to the Future: Lessons from the Past to Cope with the Next Ten Years’, this year’s conference brought together an international community of legal professionals and business leaders to reflect on a decade of entrepreneurial transformation and prepare for the challenges ahead. 
 
The programme featured keynote speakers and panel discussions addressing themes such as family business governance, cross-border M&A, venture capital trends, ESG compliance, AI in legal operations, and crisis management. Delegates had the opportunity to engage in interactive workshops on deal structuring, negotiation, and governance in closely held companies. 
 
The conference was also marked by exceptional networking and cultural experiences, including a private tour and reception at the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, a dinner at the elegant Villa Necchi Campiglio, and a rooftop walk above the iconic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. 
 
Held in one of Europe’s most vibrant centres of innovation and business, the event provided a rich opportunity to connect with fellow practitioners, gain valuable insights, and showcase Malta as a forward-looking hub for entrepreneurship and legal excellence.
