David Zahra & Associates Advocates was once again proud to attend the 48th Alliance of Business Lawyers (ABL) conference, held between 14 and 17 May 2025 in the charming city of Wroclaw, Poland.
This year’s conference was hosted by ABL member firm Szmyrka Nawrat & Wspólnicy SP.J. and brought together more than 50 delegates from over 30 law firms across the globe. Set against the stunning backdrop of Wroclaw’s historic Ostrów Tumski, the event offered an engaging mix of professional sessions, networking opportunities, and cultural experiences.
The conference programme featured a rich line-up of speakers and discussions centred around the Polish business environment, foreign investment, innovation, and sustainability. Keynotes included former Mayor of Wroclaw Rafal Dutkiewicz, who now serves as President of the Employers of Poland, and Piotr Orzechowski, CEO of health tech company Infermedica, who spoke on AI transformation in healthcare.
David Zahra & Associates Advocates was represented by David Zahra, Austin Sammut and Giulio Sammut.
Giulio Sammut also participated in the “Members Sharing Experiences” segment, delivering a presentation titled Malta: A Premier Jurisdiction for Wealth Management & Investment Structures—highlighting Malta’s strategic position in cross-border planning and financial structuring.
As always, the ABL conference provided an excellent platform to strengthen existing relationships within the network and explore new collaborations with fellow member firms.
