The COVID Wage Supplement implemented by the Government of Malta in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, originally intended to ver the months of March and April, has been renewed for a further two months that is to cover May and June.
This measure is intended to ease the effects of the pandemic on businesses and their employees, as well as self-employed persons.
A defined list of self-employed and business categories may benefit from financial grants to cover part of the wages due to the impact of COVID-19.
Such measures are being administered by Malta Enterprise.
